Councillors are summoned to a meeting of the Parish Council to be held on

Tuesday 16^th July 2024

and will take place in the village hall beginning at 19.00hrs.

 

 

1. Receive apologies for absence.

 

2. To receive declarations of interest and written dispensation requests.

 

3. Presentation by Mr Stephen McMillan – Community First Herefordshire & Worcestershire, Rural Housing Enabler Project

 

4. To consider minutes of the previous meetings ….18^th June 2024.

 

5. To Review the Resolutions Log and agree any further action as required.

 

6. Open Session
   • To receive a briefing from West Mercia Police
   • To receive a brief verbal report from the Ward Councillor.
   • To receive views of local residents on parish matters

 

7. Footpaths
   • To receive an update on any current issues to include feedback from the Footpath Officers.

 

8. Planning – To comment on applications to be determined by Herefordshire Council. No planning applications have been received for consideration.

 

9. Finance
   • To note the current bank balance
   • To consider outstanding payments including (but not limited to) the following:
     • Clerk’s salary (June 2024) in accordance with his employment contract.
     • Clerk’s travel costs – £5.40
     • Marches Ground Maintenance (Grass Cutting) – June 2024 – £240.00
     • Village Hall Hire (June 2024) – £20.00
     • DM Payroll Services – £60.00
     • Stationery (Cllr Richardson) – £4.73 (inclusive of VAT)
   • Financial Monitoring and Bank Reconciliation 2024/25 – To note the current financial status of the Parish Council finances.

 

10. Parish Council Objectives – To provide an overview of progress since the last meeting plus feedback from the following workstreams:
    • Traffic – To consider any developments since the last meeting.
    • Drainage
      • To receive an update on the drainage issue at Pudding Lane that was discussed at the last meeting.
      • To approve the proposed submission to Herefordshire Council for drainage grant funding 2024/25.
    • Facilities
      • To note any developments on the Adult Gym Equipment/Recreation Field
    • • To consider any future action following the report from a tree surgeon on the ash trees on the PROW from the church to Hinton Farm.
      • To consider action in response to graffiti in the recreation ground.

 

 

11. Parish Council Policies – To consider the adoption of the following policies:
    • Financial Regulations – 2024/25
    • Standing Orders – 2024/25
    • Risk Management Plan – 2024/25

 

12. Community Transport – To consider any proposals for delivering or supporting the provision of community transport in the parish.

 

13. Parish Priorities – To consider a response to the invitation from West Mercia Police for parish priorities for the next 3 months.

 

14. Clerk Correspondence.
