Councillors are summoned to a meeting PPC/MH/173 of Peterchurch Parish Council to be held on

Tuesday 17^th January 2023

and will take place in the village hall beginning at 19.00hrs.

 

1. To formally co-opt Mrs Sandra Salter to the Parish Council

 

2. Receive apologies for absence

 

3. To receive declarations of interest and written dispensation requests

 

4. To consider minutes of the previous meetings ….12^th December 2022.

 

5. To note the status of Resolutions passed at the meeting dated 12^h December 2022.

 

6. Open Session
   • To receive a briefing from West Mercia Police
   • To receive a brief verbal report from Ward Councillor Jennie Hewitt.
   • To receive views of local residents on parish matters

 

7. Footpaths – To receive an update on any current issues to include feedback from the Footpath Officers.

 

8. Planning – To comment on applications to be determined by Herefordshire Council. No planning applications have been received since the last meeting.

8.1 – Planning Consultations 224036 & 224037 – Wellbrook Manor, Peterchurch. Alterations to outbuilding and new garden office. Full Householder and Listed Building Consent respectively

 

9. Finance
   • To note current bank balance.
   • To consider outstanding payments within budget allocation.
   • Financial Monitoring & Bank Reconciliation 2022/23.
   • To consider a donation to Dore Community Transport.

10. Peterchurch Primary School – To receive an update on developments since the last meeting including the possible future provision and funding of a swimming pool.

 

11. Future Parish Council Objectives – To provide an overview of progress since the last meeting plus feedback from the following workstreams:
    • Traffic
      • To receive an update on a proposed meeting with Bruce Evans and the police to consider road safety issues outside Peterchurch primary school.

 

• Drainage
  • To receive an update on the projects to be funded through the drainage grant and Parish Council reserves.
• Facilities
  • To receive an update on any developments since the last meeting.
  • To receive an update on the planned installation of a bus shelter and bench at Crossways.
  • To consider the procurement and installation of a defibrillator at a prominent location in the village.

11.4 Environment – To receive an update on any developments since the last meeting.

 

 

12. Public Consultation – To receive an update on preparation of the “master” plan following the recent public consultation.

 

13. Almhouses – To consider a request from John Smith’s Charity for Parish Council approval for the installation of gates to facilitate vehicular access to the plot.

 

14. Clerk Correspondence.

 

15. To raise matters for the next meeting on 21^st February 2023.
