Councillors are summoned to a meeting of the Parish Council to be held on

Tuesday 20^th January 2026  

and will take place in the village hall beginning at 19.00hrs.

 

 

1. Receive apologies for absence.

 

2. To receive declarations of interest and written dispensation requests.

 

3. To consider minutes of the previous meetings held on 16^th December 2025

 

4. To receive a briefing from West Mercia Police

4.1 To discuss Parish priorities for 2026

 

5. Open Session
   • To receive a brief verbal report from the Ward Councillor
   • To receive views of local residents on parish matters

 

6. To Review the Resolutions Log and agree any further action as required.

 

7. Footpaths
   • To receive an update on any current issues to include feedback from the Footpath Officers.
   • To receive update on PROW grant funding application to be submitted to Herefordshire Council

 

8. Planning – To comment on applications to be determined by Herefordshire Council
   • Planning Consultation – 260017 – Wellbrook Manor, Peterchurch, Hereford, Herefordshire HR2 0SS
   • Planning Re-consultation – 232431 – Land adjacent to Lewis Way, Peterchurch, Herefordshire.
   • Street Naming for Hawthorn Rise.

 

 

9. Finance
   • To note the current bank balance
   • To consider outstanding payments including (but not limited to) the following.
     • Clerk’s salary (January 2026) in accordance with her employment contract.
     • PAYE & NIC (January 2026)
     • Clerk’s travel costs (Jan)- £11.52
     • Clerk’s expenses (4x 2^nd class stamps and land registry search) £10.48
     • HALC Inv H3125 Clerk Recruitment – £330 inc VAT
     • HALC Inv H3130 CiLCA Training Session – £330 inc VAT
     • Village Hall Hire Nov & Dec – £40.00
     • Microsoft 365 Personal Subscription (to be reimbursed to the Clerk) – £84.99
   • Financial Monitoring and Bank Reconciliation 2025/26 – To note the current status of the Parish Council finances.
   • To review the precept and budget draft 26/27

 

10. Parish Council Objectives – To provide an overview of progress since the last meeting plus feedback from the following workstreams:
    • Traffic
    • Drainage – To review the drainage grant awarded by Herefordshire Council along with the additional award.

10.2.1 To provide update on outstanding drainage matters.

• Facilities/Environment – To note any developments since the last meeting and agree any actions arising.
  • To review playground inspection and log any remedial actions required,

 

 

 

11. Clerk Correspondence.

 

 

 

12. To raise matters for the next meeting to be held on 17^th February 2026

13. To consider the co-option of a new Councillor onto the Parish Council.
