Councillors are summoned to a meeting of the Parish Council to be held on

Tuesday 18^th February 2025  

and will take place in the village hall beginning at 19.00hrs.

 

1. Receive apologies for absence.

 

2. To receive declarations of interest and written dispensation requests.

 

3. To consider minutes of the previous meetings ….21^st January 2025.

 

4. To Review the Resolutions Log and agree any further action as required.

 

5. Open Session
   • To receive a briefing from West Mercia Police
   • To receive a brief verbal report from the Ward Councillor.
   • To receive views of local residents on parish matters

 

6. Footpaths – To receive an update on any current issues to include feedback from the Footpath Officers

 

7. Planning – To comment on applications to be determined by Herefordshire Council.

7.1        Planning Consultation 243176 – Land off Wellbrook Road, Peterchurch. Erection of an agricultural building on agricultural land.

7.2        Planning Consultation 250235 – Lower Snodhill, Dorstone. Listed Building Consent. Proposed removal of conservatory and small extension to the west. Small extension to the east and repairs to the timber frame.

7.3        Planning Consultation 243177 – Land north of Chapel Lane, Peterchurch. Construction of agricultural barn (part retrospective.

 

8. Finance
   • To note the current bank balance
   • To consider outstanding payments including (but not limited to) the following:
     • Clerk’s salary (January 2025) in accordance with his employment contract.
     • Clerk’s travel costs (January 2025)- £10.80
     • Postage (Housing Needs Survey) – £42.50
     • Microsoft 365 Personal – £59.99 (inclusive of VAT)
     • Dore Community Transport – £350.00
     • Tidy Fellers (Invoice 1751) – £600.00 (inclusive of VAT)
   • Financial Monitoring and Bank Reconciliation 2024/25 – To note the current financial status of the Parish Council finances.
   • To consider a request for a donation from Food for Families.

 

 

9. Parish Council Objectives – To provide an overview of progress since the last meeting plus feedback from the following workstreams:
   • Traffic – To consider any developments since the last meeting.
   • Drainage
     • To receive an update on the drainage issue at Stockley Hill which was raised at the previous meeting.
   • Facilities
     • To consider the revised quote from GM Joyce for work on the track between Hinton Farm and the church.
     • To consider the adoption of a work schedule for the Lengthsman and agree any actions arising.
     • To receive an update on the proposed work at the recreation ground.
   • Environment –
     • To consider whether any verges in the parish should be restricted to a single cut.
     • Councillor Coda to provide brief feedback on the Nature Recovery Mapping Webinar.

 

10. Neighbourhood Development Plan – To consider the recent advice from Herefordshire Council and agree any actions arising.

 

11. Clerk Correspondence.

 

12. To raise matters for the next meeting to be held on 18^th March 2025.
