Councillors are summoned to a meeting of Peterchurch Parish Council to be held on

Tuesday 16^th April 2024

and will take place in the village hall beginning at 19.00hrs.

 

1. Receive apologies for absence.

 

2. To receive declarations of interest and written dispensation requests

 

3. To consider minutes of the previous meetings ….19^th March 2024.

 

4. To Review the Resolutions Log and agree any further action as required.

 

5. Open Session
   • To receive a briefing from West Mercia Police
   • To receive a brief verbal report from the Ward Councillor.
   • To receive views of local residents on parish matters

 

6. Footpaths
   • To receive an update on any current issues to include feedback from the Footpath Officers.
   • To consider the proposed Public Path Orders at Poston Court (including PR5 ((part).

 

7. Planning – To comment on applications to be determined by Herefordshire Council. No planning applications have been received.

 

8. Finance
   • To note the current bank balance
   • To consider outstanding payments including (but not limited to) the following:
     • Clerk’s salary (March 2024) in accordance with his employment contract.
     • Stationery – £18.91 (inclusive of VAT)
     • Postage – £4.50
     • Grass Seed – £60.00
   • Financial Monitoring and Bank Reconciliation 2023/24 – To note the financial status of the Parish Council finances on the 31^st March 2024.

 

9. Parish Council Objectives – To provide an overview of progress since the last meeting plus feedback from the following workstreams:
   • Traffic
     • To receive an update on the recent work in the village.
   • Drainage
     • To consider any projects for consideration against the local drainage fund.
     • To approve the Lengthsman contract and the Annual Maintenance Plan (2024/25)
   • Facilities
     • To note any developments on the Adult Gym Equipment/Recreation Field project with specific reference to the requirement to relocate fence/posts.
   • Environment
     • To consider arrangement for the disposal of dog waste in the village.

 

10. Defibrillator –To receive an update on the proposed installation of a defibrillator at the Fire Station.

 

 

11. Clerk Correspondence.

 

12. To raise matters for the next meeting to be held on 21^st May 2024.
